DANIEL Stendel has been appointed by the Tykes as the new manager on a two-year contract.
Stendel, 44, was previously head coach of Hannover however he left the club in March last year
Barnsley have been searching for a replacement since Jose Morais who was sacked after the Tykes were relegated last month.
