ROADWORKS have started on the Dearne Valley Parkway and are expected to be in place for four weeks.
Traffic Sign Maintenance works in areas along the Parkway between Shortwood Roundabout and Cathill Roundabout started on Monday (February 19).
The work is expected to last up to four weeks and will mostly be carried out on weekday nights from 7pm to 5am with some occasional Sunday working during the day.
A temporary 40mph speed restriction will be in place during the working shift to protect the workforce and the road users.
