Planning round-up: Beauty salon get go-ahead

PLANS to use part of an existing building as a beauty salon and training salon have been approved by the council.

An application for the work to take place on Barnsley Road, Wombwell, was submitted in May.

These plans were approved by the council’s planning board earlier this week.

PLANS to demolish an outbuilding and garage to create a new driveway at a Barnsley property have been submitted to the council. If approved, work will take place on Upper Sheffield Road. Six neighbouring properties have been made aware of the plans with no appeals to date. Public consultation ends on September 30.

PLANNING permission is being sought to erect a new agricultural building at a local farm. If the plans are deemed acceptable by the council’s planning board, the new building will be added to Crabtree Grange Farm in Great Houghton. A decision date has been set for October 15.
