ALMOST 200 women gathered together last weekend to raise funds in aid of Barnsley Youth Choir, the LimbBo Foundation and Barnsley Hospice.
Ladies from Stainborough and Rockley Rotary Clubs met at Holiday Inn Dodworth last Saturday for the fourth of these annual fundraising lunches.
Altogether 190 people attended, enjoying entertainment from Barnsley Youth Choir’s Jake Edwards-Brown and Ruby Hay, while raising almost £5,000 for the three charities.
Organiser Barbara Lee said: “Plans are already being made to celebrate the lunch’s fifth birthday next year.
“An absolutely massive thank you to all the ladies who attended and contributed to raising such a significant amount of money.”
