BARNSLEY Hospice bosses have thanked hard-working volunteers for making the charity what it is as they celebrate 30 years in service.
On June 24, 1994, St Peter’s Hospice opened up, looking a lot different to what people are used to seeing today.
In the decades since, countless changes have been made, all supported and pushed by dedicated volunteers and their families.
Leaders and volunteers have been celebrating the milestone in style with multiple activities including being the official charitable partner of the Barnsley 10K on Sunday.
