NEW car park machines that allow customers to pay on their card are coming to the Alhambra.

The shopping centre will be upgrading the full system this month, with new pay stations, entrance and exit barriers.

The system will work in the same way as the current one, but customers will now need to insert the ticket into one of five new machines, and pay for their parking with either cash or card, including contactless.

The system will also accept the new plastic £5 and £10 notes when they are released.

The car park works follow the recent refurbishment of the toilet facilities, which were completed earlier this month.
