A TEAM which works to improve the behaviour of Barnsley's most problematic families has been praised by police.

Police chief constable David Crompton praised the team - which consists of a police officer and two council officers - who work together to tackle issues ranging from drug use, to nuisance neighbours and domestic abuse.

He said: “The priority for the team is improving the negative impact that the families have on their neighbours.”

Anyone experiencing problems should call 101 to report it.
