CARRIAGEWAY repair work is taking place in Kexborough this week with road closures in place.
The work will take place on Birthwaite Road, Brookhill Road, Oakwood Square and Ballfield Lane, Kexborough from this morning for approximately five days.
Barnsley council has announced that a road closure will be place on Birthwaite Road, Brookhill Road, Oakwood Square and Ballfield Lane (covering the section leading from Ballfield Lane to Brookhill Road and Birthwaite Road) between 8am and 5pm on weekdays.
The roads will be open after each working shift and signed diversion routes will be in place during this time.
A council spokesperson said: “Access for residents will only be permissible when safe to do so. Please do not park in the affected areas during working hours.”
