A WELL-KNOWN Barnsley pub which has become a favourite with many Reds’ fans has been put up for sale.

Over the years, the Manx Arms on Sheffield Road has developed a strong following as a base for Barnsley FC fans and for the British Legion.

The freehold of the 100 per cent wet-led pub is on the market for £150,000.

There are three main rooms – the Poppy Room with seating for up to 32; the Pool Room with stool seating for eight and the Football Room which includes seating for 38.

To the front, there is an external patio area while to the first floor there is private accommodation including two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, office and sitting room.

The pub is on the market with leisure property specialists Fleurets.
